    Meet Your Trainer

    Meet Your Trainer

I’ve spent two decades studying, practicing, and experimenting with fitness and nutrition.

I’ve had a 20+ year love affair with long distance running. I‘ve spent hundreds of hours on the pool deck and in the water. I spent a few years in the boxing ring. And I am extremely fond of my barbell, which keeps me young in the fitness world. I am excited to help you find your adventure and meet your goals.

    Health Philosophy and Training Approach

Nutrition: Small, measurable changes work best for most. Whether it be nutrition or fitness, I’ll help you focus on one change at a time. Food is often both a friend and an enemy.  Experience has taught me that you can have a good relationship with food and meet your goals, but you have to trust the process.

Fitness: Fitness is for everyone, I welcome both beginners and athletes, and everyone in-between.

Drills and repetition are the foundation of athletics, I drill my athletes and reinforce skills.

And yet, variety and high intensity workouts make training fun and very effective for general physical fitness. I‘m all about keeping movement fun and motivating.

    Training and Nutrition Niches

I love the Military Community. I spent nine years in the Army, and I am a proud spouse of a Soldier. It is because of my service that I was able to attain both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Nutrition. Additionally, I have a niche Precision Nutrition certification that focuses on physical performance.
I have been an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer for 12 years. I hold a CrossFit Lvl 2 certificate, as well as a Bergener Lvl 1 Olympic Weightlifting certificate. I am a US Master’s Swim Lvl 2, and USA Swim Coach.

    Your Success is the Goal

Expect to follow a program. Expect to see positive changes. Expect to work hard. Expect to feel better. Expect to meet your goals.

Small, consistent changes in nutrition, movement, and regeneration meet big fitness and health goals.
